Latest Wedding Photo Trend? For The Brides And Bridesmaids To Flash Their Bums!

Wedding photos used to be a staged, professional affair that featured cheesy smiles, a lace-clad demure bride and a distant uncle that nobody had seen for seven years. Now that’s all changed, because a rather cheeky wedding photo trend is sweeping across America and it involves brides and bridesmaids flashing their bums at the camera. Some wedding parties are just flashing their pants (everything from lacy French knickers to nude seam-free thongs) while others are just going completely and utterly bare-bottomed. Well, we suppose that’s one way to show off the results of a fantastic pre-wedding diet. The photos are currently doing the rounds on Pinterest, and although we’re having a good snigger, our hearts are already going out to the poor humiliated children these couples will go on to have.

OLOKPA IN TROUBLE! Man Pulls Over Policeman And Accuses Him Of Speeding

A truck driver pulls over a policeman and accuses him of speeding – a painfully awkward stand-off ensues. At first the defiant cop warns the driver he may get a ticket for unlawful use of his horn after he beeped to get the officer’s attention. The man accuses him of speeding and using a mobile phone behind the wheel. To which he stresses that police have the right to use a phone whilst driving. Then the truck driver reveals he is recording the entire spat on camera. Soon after the cop disappears off with paperwork. The policeman says: ‘You’re just trying to help me drive safely, I understand that.’ The driver replies: ‘We’re all out here sharing the same roads, you should be as accountable to the same standard as I am.’ ‘Absolutely,’ admits the cop.

Nigerian Soldiers Went Into Hiding As Boko Haram Attacked Churches Near Chibok!

If this is true, it would likely raise further questions about the military effort in the northeast, the epicentre of Boko Haram’s five-year deadly uprising. Report has it that Nigerian soldiers reportedly went to hide in the bush as Boko Haram gunmen unleashed fresh attacks on churches in the Chibok area of Borno state today. Residents said dozens of people may have been killed in the raids on villages roughly 10 kilometres, (six miles) outside of Chibok, but no one was able to offer an authoritative death toll and the military was not immediately available to comment. “The attackers went to churches with bombs and guns,” Timothy James, a Chibok resident said. “From what I gathered, dozens of worshippers, including men, women and children were killed,” he said, explaining that his information had come from people who fled the affected area and through phone calls. Enoch Mark, an outspoken Chibok leader since the April 14 kidnappings, gave a similar account, telling AFP in Lagos, “pr…

The Origin Of Blond Black-Afros In Melanesia Northeast Of Australia!

Pay a visit to Melanesia's Solomon Islands, 1800 kilometers northeast of Australia, and you'll notice a striking contrast: about 10% of the dark-skinned islanders sport bright blond afros. Hypotheses about the origins of this golden hair have included bleaching by sun and saltwater, a diet rich in fish, and the genetic legacy of Europeans or Americans. But a new study fingers a random mutation instead, suggesting that blond hair evolved independently at least twice in human history. And other novel genes, including ones with serious health consequences, may await discovery in understudied populations. Human hair color is a trait usually governed by many genes, but study author Sean Myles, a geneticist at Nova Scotia Agricultural College in Truro, Canada, suspected things might be simpler in the Solomon Islands because he saw almost no variation in shades of blond hair. "It looked pretty obvious to me that it was a real binary trait. You either had blond hair or you didn&…

Alarm! As UK Faces Major Sperm Shortage, Now Imports Sperm - BBC

The UK is facing a major sperm shortage that may be tempting fertility clinics to accept poorer quality sperm, the British Fertility Society (BFS) warns. Some clinics rely on imported sperm to keep up with demand. However, the BFS chairman, Dr Allan Pacey, said he was "worried" that some clinics may be setting a lower bar to "get donors through the door". He said woman may be subjected to more invasive and expensive techniques if poor-quality sperm were used. There are thought to have been fewer sperm donors after the right to anonymity was removed in 2005. The demand for donors has been falling as advances in fertility treatment let more men father their own children. However, a shortage of donors has still emerged. Figures from the fertility regulator, the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA), show nearly one in four donated sperm samples are from abroad. The figure was one in 10 in 2005. Sperm banks in Denmark and the US are the major suppliers. …

Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha has described the incident at the funeral church service for the  late Justice Chikwudifu Oputa, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oguta where he was not allowed to speak as a conspiracy of Abuja based politicians against him.

A statement by his spokesman, Sam Onwuemeodo yesterday said “It is highly regrettable that the son of the late Justice, Mr Charles Emeka Oputa, aka, Charly Boy threw caution to the wind and turned the church service into a political theater that saw him acting or playing out the script he drafted in Abuja with some Imo politicians who have remained cowed by the overwhelming popularity of Governor Rochas Okorocha.”

While expressing surprise at the sudden turn of events, the statement said “the Imo State governor had worked together with Mr Charly Boy both when the late Justice was sick, until the time he died and the preparation for the burial which also encouraged the state governor to make substantial financial input a…

BOKO HARAM: Is Nigeria At The Brink Of Disintegration As Bomb Blast Kills 10 In Bauchi?

An explosion in the red light district of northern Nigeria’s Bauchi city has killed 10 people and injured 14 others, police said Saturday. The cause of the late Friday blast was not immediately clear, but Boko Haram Islamists have attacked Bauchi repeatedly during their five-year uprising aimed at creating a strict Islamic state in the north. Bauchi state police spokesman Mohammed Haruna said the targeted building in the Bayan Gari neighbourhood on the outskirts of the city was widely known as a brothel. “Ten people were confirmed dead, while 14 others sustained various degrees of injury,” Haruna said, adding that the explosion went off at roughly 10:00 pm (2100 GMT). “The entire area has been cordoned off and (the) scene secured,” Haruna said. Bomb attacks on targets which Boko Haram has branded sinful – including bars, churches and schools teaching a Western curriculum – have formed a major part of the insurgency. Nigeria has estimated that more than 10,000 people have been killed …

''I have had to remain quiet about the continuing efforts by Nigeria’s military, police and investigators to find the girls kidnapped in April from the town of Chibok by the terrorist group Boko Haram. It was the third major attack in Nigeria’s capital since mid-April and raised further…

Court Stops Adamawa Assembly From Impeaching Nyako, Deputy

An Adamawa State High Court sitting in Yola yesterday restrained the state House of Assembly from serving impeachment notice on Governor Murtala Nyako and and his deputy, Bala Ngilari.

According to www.thisdaylive.com, the court, presided by the acting Chief Judge of the state, Justice Ambrose Mamadi, also stopped the legislators from proceeding with the impeachment process against Nyako pending the determination of a motion on notice. Nyako’s counsel, Mr. Jerry Owen, had filed a motion ex-parte on behalf of the governor,  asking the court to stop the three respondents and their agents from going ahead with the impeachment moves.

In another ruling on a matter brought by the All Progressives Congress (APC), the court restrained all defected members of the party from participating in the activities of the assembly.

Jonathan Abandons AU-Malabo Summit After Bomb Blast!

Nigeria’s President Goodluck Jonathan has cut short a trip to the African Union summit in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, a day after a bomb blast in Abuja, his office said on Thursday, highlighting how the Boko Haram insurgency could disrupt Nigeria’s regional influence. At least 21 people were killed in a bomb blast in a crowded shopping district in Nigeria’s capital Abuja during rush hour on Wednesday, the third attack on the capital since April, but the first in the town center. Jonathan is returning on Thursday instead of the previously planned Friday, his office said. Nigeria in July last year had to withdraw some troops from an African Union mission in Mali to redeploy them in the volatile northeast, a move seen as a knock to its long-established role as West Africa’s main peacekeeper. Officials suspect militant Islamist group Boko Haram, by far the biggest security threat to Africa’s biggest economy and top oil producer, to be behind the blast near the Banex Plaza shopping center …
