Ouchfrandib Post Says Congrats To Gen Buhari

Yeah, that is it, Nigeria has duly elected a new President. May we at Ouchfrandib Post use this opportunity to congratulate our new president elect in the person of Gen. Muhammadu Buhari.
Haven made history today President Goodluck Jonathan is the real winner. Since independence from Britain in 1960, there have been numerous coups and most elections have been rigged.  It is normal in a fiercely fought election like this for there to be many voters who are not pleased with the outcome but the whole process is a sign that democracy has come to stay in Nigeria with Nigerians.
We wish to implore every Nigerian to now come together under the umbrella called GMB to help move Nigeria forward. Once again, congrats Gen. Mohammadu Buhari on your well deserved victory. To President Goodluck Jonathan, bravo for making Nigeria proud. You are the co man of the moment.

President Goodluck Jonathan Speaks To Nigerians On Presidential Election 2015

President Jonathan speaks to Nigerians;
Fellow Nigerians,  I thank you all for turning out en-masse for the March 28 General Elections.I promised the country free and fair elections. I have kept my word. I have also expanded the space for Nigerians to participate in the democratic process. That is one legacy I will like to see endure.
Although some people have expressed mixed feelings about the results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), I urge those who may feel aggrieved to follow due process based on our constitution and our electoral laws, in seeking redress.
As I have always affirmed, nobody’s ambition is worth the blood of any Nigerian. The unity, stability and progress of our dear country is more important than anything else.

Bloody End To Turkey Prosecutor Hostage Crisis

A Turkish prosecutor and two gunmen who took him hostage have been killed after a shootout at a courthouse in Istanbul. Gunshots were heard and smoke was seen rising from the scene after special forces stormed the building.
Mehmet Selim Kiraz was apparently taken hostage because he had headed an inquiry into the death of a boy during anti-government protests in 2013. A banned Marxist revolutionary group is said to be behind the hostage taking incident.
A statement posted online had said the prosecutor would be killed if the group's demands were not met. Istanbul's police chief Selami Altunok said that police had negotiated with the gunmen for six hours, but eventually stormed the courthouse "because of gunshots heard from inside the prosecutor's office"... Orubebe Raised Concern Of Jega's Compromise, As Presidential Result Announcement Was About To Resume.

The PDP party agent at the Collation center in Abuja, Elder Godswill Orubebe  staged  a one man protest at the INEC result collation center alleging that Prof Jega has been compromised. According to him, Professor Jega has been selective, partial and  tribalistic in his response to complaints and petitions by different political parties about irregularities in some states.
He said APC had written a letter to INEC concerning an alleged rigging in Rivers state which he immediately sent a committee to investigate the issue but that when PDP wrote protest letters on the elections in Katsina, Kaduna and Jigawa,  Jega did not send anyone to attend to their protest.
Orubebe, who is a former Minister of Niger Delta, is now calling for Jega to stop result collation. He sat on stage and refused to allow the result announcement to continue. However as situation calmed down result announcement continued.

APC Loses Six Reps Seats In Lagos

The All Progressives Congress has lost five House of Representatives seats to the Peoples Democratic Party and a seat to the Accord Party in Lagos. Investigations by our correspondent showed that most of the reps lost in Igbo- dominated local government areas. Sources in the APC said the love the people of the South-East have for President Goodluck Jonathan positively affected the PDP candidates, some of whom had not even been rigorously campaigning.
In Amuwo Odofin local government, which has a very high Igbo population, especially in areas like Kirikiri, Satellite Town and FESTAC, the PDP candidate, Oghene Egboh, who is from the Niger-Delta, defeated Mr. Ganiyu Olukolu of the APC.  In Ajeromi/Ifelodun, which is one of the most densely populated areas in Lagos State and is home to Ajegunle (another Igbo dominated area), the PDP candidate, Mrs. Rita Orji, who also hails from the South-East, defeated Taiwo Adenekan of the APC.

Who Did This To Kanye West? Kanye Sleeps With Mouth Wide Open!

I don't like this one bit even though most people do same. It is disgusting, to be honest. Mr West sleeping on flight with mouth wide open and mother in law seated and sleeping next to him.
