FG Looking To Drop Case Against Saraki, As CCB Member Says Chairman Breached Bureau’s Procedure

It looks like the Federal government is looking for a way out from the Senator Saraki's CCB trial. Fillers are that sources are shopping for loophole to be used as an excuse so the trial can be dropped in order to stop APC from an imminent collapse and a plot by the PDP to take over the senate leadership. To this effect, new dimension are said to have emerged in the case against Saraki, as a member of the CCB said that the entire trial was needless and in contradiction with the process stipulated in the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act, even though Saraki has pointed out this fact even before the trial commenced.

The member of the Bureau noted that the Section of the Act was not complied with before the Senate President was charged before the tribunal, adding, “If it had been complied with, the man will probably not even need to get to court at all, even if he committed all we are charging him with. Once he admits the inconsistency and regularise them”.

According to the memb…

No Amount Of Calumny Or Intimidation Will Make Us Change Our Stand – Nigerian Bishops' Conference Takes A Swipe At Media Misrepresentations On Their Position On Homos

An extract from an article on the Vatican Radio by the Nigerian Bishops; Here is the article in parts;...... We are aware of hateful campaigns of calumny against the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria(CBCN) because of their position that ‘same-sex unions’ are alien to Nigerian culture. Since the increasing activism about homosexuality, lesbianism as well as bisexual and transgender rights in many parts of the world culminating in the signing into law by some countries of the West a bill which allows same-sex union, there has been also a deliberate attempt by some lobbyists and gay movements to denigrate and malign those countries, groups and individuals especially in Africa, who hold a contrary view. Those who oppose the same-sex union are now being perceived as ‘enemies’, because they do not support such a cause. “There is certainly an obsession by some journalists about ‘severe punishment of gays or lesbians’ and they try to twist the Bishops’ statements to articulate their views…

Jamaica Is Calling For Britain To Pay Them Billions Of Pounds In Reparations For Slavery

Jamaica is calling for Britain to pay billions of pounds in reparations for slavery. Sir Hilary Beckles told David Cameron in an open letter that he has benefited from slavery on the island through his ancestral links to General Sir James Duff. ‘You are a grandson of the Jamaican soil who has been privileged and enriched by your forebears’ sins of the enslavement of our ancestors,’ Sir Hilary, chairman of the Caricom Reparations Commission, wrote in the Jamaica Observer. ‘Successive governments in this land, a place still groaning under the weight of this injustice, have done well during the 53 years of sovereignty, but the burden of inherited mess from slavery and colonialism has overwhelmed many of our best efforts.'' Downing Street have always dismissed reparation demands, but now Cameron faces being shunned if he doesn’t address the issue. ‘If it is not on the agenda, I will not attend any functions involving the visiting prime minister, and I will cry shame on those who…

In furtherance of his YEEZUZ {Jesus alike} self acclaimed mate and followership, Kanye West aka YEEZUZ and his Mrs Kim Kardashian are to have their expected baby on Dec 25th, same day Jesus Christ of Nazareth was born. Bollocks!!!!!  According to tmz.com, Kim Kardashian's due date is December 25, 2015 ... seriously. Sources close to the couple tell TMZ, doctors have back timed the date of conception and they've been told their son will be born on Xmas day. Obviously, the due date is always a little up in the air, but Xmas is the likely date, and here's why. We're told Kim has a condition where the placenta grows too deeply into the uterus, which could be dangerous.   We're told as of now, doctors are planning on a natural birth on Xmas day, but a c-section might be necessary that day for safety reasons, if she doesn't give birth beforehand.  And, we're told, Kim and Kanye have already booked a Deluxe Maternity Suite at Cedars-Sinai in L.A. All Change, All Change! Ambode’s Mediocre List of Commissioners Full Of Tinubu’s Relatives, Friends – PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State has lambasted Governor Akinwunmi Ambode over the list of commissioners and advisers he sent to the Lagos State House of Assembly.

The Lagos PDP Publicity Secretary, Taofik Gani, told DAILY POST in an interview on Monday that most of the nominees were not competent but were only named based on sentiment.

Gani said two of the nominees, Lola Akande and Deji Tinubu, are relatives of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

While Akande is the sister of Tinubu’s wife, Senator Remi Tinubu, the other nominee, Deji, is the nephew of the APC leader.

Also, Mr. Kehinde Bamigbetan, was Tinubu’s Chief Press Secretary from 2003 to 2007 while Gbolahan Lawal was Tinubu’s Aide-de-Camp when he was governor.

He, therefore, stated that the change the APC was advocating in Lagos was not a positive one but one that would take the state backwards.

Gani, who urged the members of the legislature not to approve the nominees in the i…

'' I Am Pregnant'' Teaching Assistant Told Schoolboy After Having Sex With Him 50 Times

A schoolboy has described how he was left ‘scarred for life’ by a teaching assistant who had sex with him 50 times and told him she was pregnant. The boy, 15, who cannot be named, regularly had unprotected sex with Caroline Berriman who was spared jail last week after admitting two counts of sexual activity with a child. Berriman had been tutoring him in maths and English but she contacted him on Facebook to ask for his number. They first had sex five months into their relationship but he told The Sun‘s Paul Keaveny that they got so close her daughter started calling him ‘dad’. He said: ‘We would call and text each other all the time and it got more and more into a sort of relationship. Then she started ringing me on weekends, asking if I was going round to hers. ‘It slowly got more serious. It got to a point where her daughter was calling me “dad”. I used to say to her “I’m not, I’m your mum’s friend”.’ Their affair was exposed when the boy told his brother and later his mother also…

Treachery And Betrayal: El-Rufai Companions

I will continue to write my expose until someone capable takes heed and takes steps to save our nation from another Macbeth in pious clothing. When it comes to the game of power and treachery, Governor El-Rufai towers above his peers and those he met in the game, notwithstanding his diminutive stature. Since his advent into national prominence, when his now estranged mentor and benefactor, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, recommended him to head the Bureau of Public Enterprise, Governor El-Rufai capacity to betray and stab those in the path of his ambition to be Nigeria president has known no limit. In the wee hours of Olusegun Obasanjo presidency, El-Rufai teamed up with other hawks to destroy Alhaji Atiku Abubakar run for the presidency, in the hope that the former president would anoint him to be president in 2007. He set up a secret panel with Dr. Oby Ezekwesili to bring down Atiku during Obasanjo’s government. That panel indicted Alhaji Atiku. He conjured every trick in the book to nail A…

''We Are Not Gays!” Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe Shouts During U.N. Speech

Zimbabwe’s (sort of) democratically elected strongman Robert Mugabe addressed the United Nations General Assembly on Monday. Mugabe, who at 91 years old could very well qualify as the loose cannon grandfather to be ignored at family functions if he weren’t the leader of a sovereign nation, took time out of his speech to address what he called the “new” human rights agenda being pushed by the West—more specifically, the attempt to stop the criminalization and persecution of homosexuals globally. Mugabe, who wasn’t exactly a standard bearer for the old human rights agenda, managed to construe human rights to make it look like his were being trampled. “[W]e reject the politicization of this important issue and the application of double standards to victimize those who dare think and act independently of the self-anointed prefects of our time,” Mugabe said. “We equally reject attempts to prescribe ‘new rights’ that are contrary to our values, norms, traditions, and beliefs.”

Mugabe then, …

Buhari To World Leaders: Dismantling Safe Havens For Proceeds Of Corruption

Following repeated occurrence of stolen funds discovered to have been stashed in foreign banks by corrupt politicians, President Buhari yesterday urged world leaders to dismantle the seeming safe haven in their countries where these funds are secretly being deposited. President Buhari said this while addressing world leaders at the 70th General Assembly of the United Nations.
"By any consideration, corruption and cross border financial crimes are impediments to development, economic growth, and the realization of the wellbeing of citizens across the globe.  Nigeria is ready and willing to partner with international agencies and individual countries on a bilateral basis to confront crimes and corruption. In particular, I call upon the global community to urgently redouble efforts towards strengthening the mechanisms for dismantling safe havens for proceeds of corruption and ensuring the return of stolen funds and assets to their countries of origin"he said On the Chibok girls, …
