Bishop Kukah Slams Northern Elders For Saying Boko Haram Are Not Muslims The highly respected and Outspoken Catholic Cleric Archbishop Matthew Kukah in his usual self, berated northern elder and political class for refusing to take responsibility for Boko Haram menace in the country.
The Kaduna born Catholic Priest said this while speaking at a conference organised by the Islamic Welfare Foundation at the Fountain University, Osogbo. He said the time for pretense on the issue, is over. “A hypocritical elite continues to believe that it can claim the benefits of democracy but use it only to consolidate its hold on power. This is what has laid the foundation for what is now Boko Haram. “We must locate the current crisis of Boko Haram within the context of the inability of the northern Muslim elite to live by their own dubious creed of being Muslims. They preached Sharia Law but only for the poor. They preach a religion that encourages education, yet their own people are held in the bondage…

This Guy Gets A Revenge On His Cheating Girlfriend With Fake Wedding Proposal {VIDEO}

According to divorcesupport.about.com, it's difficult to define what constitutes cheating and infidelity because people have differing opinions on the subject and what they would consider appropriate or inappropriate behavior from a spouse, girlfriend or partner
The only way to define cheating and infidelity is if you feel your expectations of your spouse have been violated. When your expectations are not being met the emotional outcome is feelings of betrayal. If those are the feelings you are having, then, yes, your lover is cheating.
Below is a YouTube video made by beanyneilpudsey, after discovering on Halloween day that his girlfriend had been seeing someone else romantically, viralthread reports.
Instead of immediately confronting his girlfriend, he planned what has to be the most elaborate dumping video of all time. In the video, the scorned man creates a fake proposal, which begins with his former lover entering her home to find a romantic rose petal path, glitter, and candle…

I Won My Election Clean And Clear And I Will Still Win Convincingly.” Senator David Mark

Former Senate President, Senator David Mark has reacted to Saturday’s ruling of the Appeal Court which voided his election by declaring that he “won the election convincingly”.
In a statement forwarded to DAILY POST by his media assistant, Paul Mumeh, the immediate past Senate President expressed faith that he will still win even if the election was conducted a hundred times.
The Appeal Court had in its verdict on Saturday ordered a re-run of the Benue South Senatorial election. The appeal was brought by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC in that election, Daniel Onjeh
Mark, while charging his people not to be deterred by the verdict but be strengthened ahead of the re-run, said he has “no doubt that his constituents would turn out en masse to vote for him again.”
Continuing, he said, “Whatever the situation may be, one thing I know is that my people are solidly behind me . They also appreciate the fact that I have done more than enough to lift up Idoma nation to a positio…

DSS Frightening Abuja Residents With Boko Haram Terror Attack Announcement!

It is only in Nigeria you will hear the State security services frightening citizens with a terror alert notice. What is expected of the DSS is to go underground and stop the terrorists from attacking the country and not to set confusion by announcing an expected terror attack. Well, Nnamdi Kanu called Nigeria a zoo, I personally think Naija is inclining towards that!
Here is a national announcement by DSS to residents of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja; .......According to news reports, the Department of State Services (DSS) has intimated residents of the federal capital territory (FCT) of the plans of Boko Haram sect to carry out some attacks in the city.
In a circular issued by Mohammed Ibrahim, DSS’ director of security service, the service disclosed that the sect was planning suicide attacks on churches, mosques and market places. Ibrahim urged religious bodies to beef up security and call any of the three telephone numbers: 09063872207, 09053872208 and 09053872209, to report…

Canadian David Smith Establishes Radio Station To Fight Boko Haram Insurgency

A Canadian broadcaster, David Smith, has established a radio station focused at combating Boko Haram insurgency and its ideology, premiumtimesng.com reports. Mr. Smith, a veteran crisis and conflict news reporter, distinguished himself by setting up radio stations in crisis areas to preach the gospel of peaceful coexistence in war-torn areas. He cut his journalism teeth during the Apartheid in South Africa in 1985, and despite being of Canadian descent, worked for the ANC-owned radio station, Capital Radio, against the P.W. Botha-led National Party. Mr. Smith describes Apartheid as “terrorism”.
He set up the first UN-supported conflict-zone radio in the Balkan region in the 90s during the war in Yugoslavia, and later es…

Appeal Court Nullifies Election Of Senator David Mark, Orders Fresh Election

The Appeal Court sitting in Makurdi Benue state has annulled the election of Senator David Mark representing Benue South in the Senate. The Appeal court in its judgment this morning ordered the rerun of the election within 90 days.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for Benue South, Mr Donald Onjeh had challenged the decision of the National and State Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal, which upheld the victory of Senator Mark of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Mr Onjeh’s lawyer, Adetunji Oso, also urged the Appellate Court to allow his appeal and set aside the decision of the Tribunal. He said the court erred when it held that the papers tendered by his client were mere documentary hearsay.
The documents, according to Mr Oso, demonstrated that while the collation of results for the Benue South senatorial district’s election on March 28 was still ongoing in seven of the nine local government areas, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), declared…

''Go Your Own Way,'' The Economist Reports On The Renewed Agitation For A Sovereign State Of Biafra

Half a century after the war, angry Biafrans are agitating again. MOST Nigerians do not remember their country’s civil war. A large majority were born years after the 30-month fight between Nigeria and the breakaway region of Biafra, which ended when the secessionists surrendered in 1970.  Yet over the past month independence protests have erupted in cities across the south-east, where the self-declared state once was. Agitators say that this time they will not be beaten. “Biafra is a country to be restored,” declares one of them. “We are determined to fight to the end.”
This is a concern for Nigeria’s new government. Secessionist organisations in Biafra have been agitating for years, but analysts reckon the scale of the current marches is unprecedented. Superficially, they were sparked by the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu, the outspoken head of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) movement, and director of Radio Biafra, a pirate station. But the grievances run deep. Read Full Article Here @
