Prof. Charles Soludo, Prof. Pat Utomi, Others Visits Nnamdi Kanu At Kuje Prison, Demands His Immediate Release!

The leader of the indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu today, Tuesday, February 28 at Kuje prison,where he is currently being detained, played host to some prominent Nigerian Igbo leaders under the aegis of Nzuko Umunna. The Igbo group was led by the former CBN governor in the person of Prof, Soludo and the president of Lagos Business School and renowned economist, Prof Pat Utomi.
Prof. Charles Soludo on behalf of the other delegates, which included Dr Sam Amadi, a former head of Nigeria’s electricity regulator, addressed a press conference at Chelsea hotel Abuja  where they demanded for an immediate release of Kanu and his other members. You would recall that Kanu was arrested by DSS officials in October last year and is being tried for treasonable offences.
Soludo in his statement said “We are a delegation of Nzuko Umunna, a pan-Igbo group. We visited Nnamdi Kanu to hear his own point of view as well as share our own point of view with him. We believe that Nigeria has the po…

The Nigeria-Prays-For-Buhari Competition - By Reuben Abati

Have a good read;
'After the publication of my column last week, titled “I want to go to London… to see Buhari”, I received a lot of feedback from persons who were either amused or dead serious that they had been overlooked in my compilation of the list of persons who should go to London. One fellow asked: “Abati, you left out the Miyetti Allah and the cattle herders of Nigeria.” “Excuse me?” “Yes, they too will like to go to London” “With due respect, to go and herd cattle?”
“No, to visit the President and reassure him about the welfare of his cattle” “My friend, are we talking about cattle or the health of Mr. President?” “We are talking about everything and anything that can ensure the President’s speedy recover.” “Speedy recovery!” “Speedy recover!”
“My friend, it is speedy recovery, not speedy recover!” “That is your problem. You spend too much time worrying about grammar and big words you don’t oftentimes know what to do. Look at you, you even left out local government chairmen. You l…

A MUST READ; Rotimi Amaechi: A Decorated Monkey Is Still A Monkey! - By Reno Omokri

Have a good read here below of what Reno Omokri wrote about Rotimi Amaechi;
It has been brought to my attention the attack on my person by the Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, after I exposed his lies with regards to the figure of $49.8 billion which he claimed former President Goodluck Jonathan pilfered from the national treasury.
In my response to that false allegation, I stated with facts, figures and dates that not only did Mr. Amaechi lie, but that he is directly to blame for some of the economic challenges facing the nation. Unable to dispute my facts, Amaechi has resorted to insults and abuse on my person. My response is as follows:
I will never, ever exchange insults with a lowlife. A lowlife with a ministerial position is still a lowlife just as a decorated monkey is still a monkey. Other than holding one government position or the other, Amaechi has never been associated with any private success so he is very insecure when people challenge his unenviable record in gover…

Buhari Down, Naira Up – By Dr. Peregrino Brimah

I hate to say I told you so. July last year we released one more of several alerts as to the danger and damage of CBN governor Godwin Emefiele to the Nigerian economy. The article was titled, “Recession: Nigeria’s Economy Cannot Improve So Long As Godwin Emefiele Remains In Charge.”
In it I highlighted the pertinent reason why Nigeria was in an economic recession and Jonathan’s Godwin’s central role in this. I summarized that piece thus:
“Finally agreeing to better advise to devalue the naira, Godwin still fails to properly adjust and regulate the exchange rate and availability of dollars in the market and maintains a dual rate longer than necessary, thus allowing his cronies to buy and sell dollars to make billions from the hustle as he adjusts the strings as he likes, akin to what the stock market calls “insider trading.”
At the helm of the recession and naira devaluation disaster is one man: Godwin Emefiele. A staunch Jonathanian cabal, friend only of the cabal and enemy of the poor N…

Why Osinbajo Must Dislodge The Aso Rock Cabal — Sen. Murray-Bruce

The leadership crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party took a new turn last week with the Appeal Court judgment sacking the Ahmed Makarafi-led faction and recognising the Ali Modu Sheriff faction as the authentic national leadership of the party. However, the governors, who spearheaded the emergence of Sheriff into the PDP top echelon led by Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State, immediately rejected the court ruling and threatened to seek redress at the Supreme Court, throwing the party into more confusion and turmoil in the process.
But while that remains the position of the governors, the Senator representing former President Goodluck Jonathan, Ben Murray-Bruce, throws his weight behind Sheriff, saying that it was futile to continue to engage in needless fight for supremacy when the party’s fortunes were dwindling, and its chances of winning election threatened as the crisis lingers. According to Murray-Bruce, his support is not about Modu Sheriff but the survival of the PDP as a …

Femi Adesina Is Under A Curse From The Presidential Villa - Femi Fani-Kayode

Former Nigerian minister of aviation, Fani-Kayode has alleged that the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari, Femi Adesina is under a curse from the Presidential villa.
Mr Kayode made the claim in response toAdesina’s reaction to a call from the purported President Buhari's call. You would recall that Adesina had on Saturday revealed that he spoke with Buhari and he thanked him “for holding out against mischief makers.”
But the Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, mocked Adesina, saying only Aso Rock curse can make the Presidential spokesman rejoice over a call from Buhari.
The former PDP Presidential campaign spokesperson wondered what Adesina would do when Buhari returns.
In a series of tweets on his social media handle @realFFK, Fani-Kayode wrote: “I heard about Femi Adesina’s reaction to the phone call he received from Buhari and I came to one conclusion: the villa curse is at work.
“When Femi Adesina finally sees Buhari he will crawl on hi…

The National Crime Agency, a national law enforcement and police agency in the United Kingdom.(NCA), on October 2nd 2015 arrested Alison-Madueke and four others including her brothers, for alleged bribery and corruption and money laundering.
According to The Nation, a source at EFCC says one of the suspects to be tried alongside the former minister was recently found at a hideout in London. The source denied claims in some quarters that the anti-graft agency was in a secret negotiation with her.
