Mastermind Of Abuja Nyanya Bomb Blast Arrested in Sudan - DSS

The federal government  Wednesday said it had arrested Aminu Sadiq Ogwuche, the co-mastermind of the April 14 bomb blast at Nyanya bus station, which led to the death of over 75 persons, in Sudan.
The Coordinator of the National Briefing Centre on Security, Mr. Mike Omeri, who made this known in Abuja, explained that Ogwuche was arrested in Sudan and the security operatives were perfecting plans to extradite him to Nigeria.
According to www.thisdaylive.com, the statement said, “We wish to authoritatively confirm the interception and consequent arrest of one of the two suspects on the wanted list, Aminu Sadiq Ogwuche who fled to Sudan''.
“Mr. Ogwuche had been declared wanted by authorities in Nigeria for his involvement in the bombings of Nyanya. The efforts of Interpol, Nigeria police and the Department of State Services (DSS) have led to this arrest.
“Presently, the security authorities are working to facilitate his extradition to Nigeria, we will also let you know when he will be arriving,” he said.
The National Bureau of Interpol had placed Ogwuche, who was declared wanted in connection with the bus station bombing by the DSS on Interpol Red Alert.
Ogwuche was arrested through the help of the military attachĂ© to the Nigerian High Commission in Sudan with the support of international security operatives. 
Ogwuche, who is a student of Arabic Language at the International University of Africa, Sudan, is a British-born Nigerian, formerly of the Nigerian Army, with service number SVC 95/104 but was said to have deserted the army in 2006.
