However it has emerged that Barcelona could appoint Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho as manager if Joan Laporta wins the club’s presidential elections.

Mourinho has been a crucial part of Laporta’s bid to be re-elected at the Nou Camp, with the Special One set to be offered the head coach job if he wins.
