Gen Gusau Absolves Self From GMB's Certificate Saga, Did Not Attend Katsina College With Buhari - FFK

The Spokesman of the PDP Presidential campaign organization has denied claims earlier made by some online publications that the Minister of Defence Gen Aliyu Gusau had come out to say Gen. Buhari passed his Cambridge/WASCE examination in 1961 and that they attended Katsina College together.

According to Fani-Kayode the false report was a bid by the opposition to cover the wrongdoing of their presidential candidate, Gen Buhari who is currently in a certificate controversy.

 In his statement according to Thisday, Mr Femi Fani-Kayode had the following to say; "This is pure falsehood and crass disinformation, and it is indicative of the type of shameless desperation and propaganda that the opposition are now indulging in.

Continuing; ''Not only did General Gusau not attend any school with General Buhari or go to Katsina College but he has also never sought to defend or absolve him in the ongoing controversy about his school certificate.”it read.
