Facebook Will Now Give You Warning If Your Account Is Being Spied On By A Government Sponsored Group Or Org.

According to news report by metro.co.uk, ever get the feeling the government is watching you, silently, ALL THE TIME? Well, if they are, Facebook will now offer you a convenient warning. If you’re being spied on by a state-sponsored group, a little warning box will now pop up.

 

That’s your cue to switch the computer off, delete all trace of yourself, and prepare for a new life hunting wildlife in the hills. 

 

Facebook’s Chief Security Officer Alex Stamos says, ‘while we have always taken steps to secure accounts that we believe to have been compromised, we decided to show this additional warning if we have a strong suspicion that an attack could be government-sponsored.’ Metro UK reports.
