DIVORCE PARTIES & THE UPBRINGING OF THEIR CHILDREN! - By, Frank Uche Dibia.

Anybody who has gone through this will bear me witness that it is usually agony and a hard knot to
crack. Having to leave your own Children and move house and to be seeing your Children sparingly or not at all (as in my case) is devastating.

Many Children born of today are guaranteed of being brought up by only one of their parents before they turn fifteen, not as a result of death, but due to divorce and separation. This is a menace our society will have to deal with and deal with very swiftly.

Just like business partners must not have to be best of friends for their business to be successful, so should divorced parents try as hard to cooperate and put aside bitterness and acrimony for the sake of their children. In as much as any of the parents can successfully bring up their children on their own, it is always best if they are brought up together by both parents, whether divorced or separated.

It is always painful and acrimonious when divorce is caused by infidelity on the part of any of the parents. In any case, the parents should bear in mind that the interest of their kids are paramount. They must in one way or the other come to terms with the fact that, it's allover and that she or he now hates you and can not live with you anymore, but are equal party to your children. Irrespective of what ever the situation is, the parent who has the custody or with whom the kids are living with should at no time move house more than 150 miles away from the visiting parents..

In the light of the above, it is obvious here to say that, ''to love and to hold, for better for worse'' is no longer holding in modern marriages and ''what God has joined together let no one put asunder is nowadays a fairy tail.
