EUROPE IS NOT AT PEACE AFTER ALL!!!

British Royal warship and four topi dos will visit the shores of Gibraltar and Spain anytime this week in what seems to be a show of strength  over recent Spanish behaviour in trying to reclaim Gibraltar, a tiny British oversea territory notorious with tax evaders.

Gibraltar was seeded to Britain by Spain well over 300 years ago during one of those ancient wars. The island has since grown into it's own economic power house that attracts the high and mighty all over the world. Well known timbers and  calibers flunk the tiny island because of it's very soft policy on taxes and secret. banking policy.
Spain's hunger to reclaim Gibraltar has been growing lately, especially since the global economic crunch hit it hard and seem not to ease up. In the last week or so, we have seen Spain mount unnecessary boarder check points in what's suppose to be an EU member state being a British territory. This check points have seen people's moving in and out of Gibraltar delayed for over 6 to 8 hours. Not satisfied with the check points, Spain has also announced it's intention to introduce an entry and exit fee said to be in the region of £40 to £50.
 All these are meant to see and push Gibraltar towards Spanish rule, but the British are not having any of those and has triggered a stiff diplomatic row since Spain seem not to back off.
Routers has it that Spain intends to collaborate with Argentina who has a similar problem with Britain over the Falkland Islands to take a joint front to the United Nations.
 Sources has it that the Spanish Foreign minister wants both countries united in the fight to reclaim these Islands. Madrid could also take the case to the International Court of Justice.
However the people of Gibraltar have repeatedly and overwhelmingly expressed their wish to remain British Sovereignty. The British has always based their gripe on self determination of the people of Gibraltar, the Falklanders or any of her other oversea territories.
