PDP SPLITS INTO TWO WITH BARAJE AS CHAIRMAN.

Nigerian ruling Peoples Democratic Party has split into two today after 8 governors and former vice president, Atiku Abubakar walked out of the party's National convention in Abuja.

Th break away faction later held a mini convention at the Shehu Yar'Adua Centre and announced officers of the new faction of the PDP, with Abubakar Baraje as Nstional Chairman and Olagunsoye Oyinlola as National secretary with loads of other officials elected too.

The faction has the following PDP governors as member; Sule Lamido, Babangida Aliyu, Murtala Nyako, Rabiu Kwankwaso, Ahmed of Kwara State as well as Rotimi Amaechi of River State.
