POPE BENEDICT; GOD TOLD ME TO RESIGN!

ITALY: Former Pope Benedict XVI said God told him to resign during a 'mystical experience'. The 86-year old (pictured left)

became the first pontiff to resign in 600 years when he stepped down in February this year. He also said his successor, Pope Francis (pictured up), was called by God, according to an anonymous visitor to the Vatican convent where former Pope Benedict is living out his retirement.
