Twitter hatemongers have spewed dozens of vile messages telling his rumoured squeeze Kara Rose Marshall that she should die.
Harry is said to have flown his new love out to New York to spend time with him as he prepares for today’s US premiere of the band’s film This Is Us.
And fans are convinced the mystery girl in question is pretty blonde Brit Kara, who has modelled for fashion-able label Abercrombie & Fitch and is a pal of Harry’s hairdresser.
One deranged fan tweeted: “Why did I just see Harry has a girl- friend on my timeline – I’ll cut you.”
Another added: “The girl i want to kill names kara rose marshall aka harrys crush aka the cause of my death.”
And another sickening message read: “Harry has a crush on kara rose Marshall... IM IN THE MOOD TO KILL SOMEONE.”
A source said: “Harry has introduced a new girl to the camp and we’re under the impression he’s known her for a while.
“The fact he’s flown her out to New York while they launch the film shows that’s he’s pretty serious about her.” Harry, 19, has been coy about the newwoman in his life.
When asked recently whether he had a crush on anyone he said: “I’ve got someone that I like, yeah.”
And he seemed to cement the rumours when he went shopping in New York.
The boyband star looked relaxed in a Rolex store where he spent 40 minutes picking out watches.
And the singer can easily afford it after experts at Business Insider magazine predicted the band will make a billion dollars by the end of this year.
