BOKO HARAM KILLS 24 JTF VOLUNTEER MEMBERS AND OTHERS IN BORNO.

No fewer than 24 members of the Borno youth vigilante popularly known as Civilian JTF were at the weekend killed by suspected Boko Haram members in Mungono local government area of the state.A good number of the members of the Civilian JTF has also been reported missing, following the ambush on them by the violent sect.The members of the youth vigilante were said to be on their way to the hideouts of the Boko Haram sect in Kaleri, Shuwari, Maganari and Nannari villages when they were ambushed, killed and slaughtered.The gunmen, according to report, were dressed in army uniforms, hence members of the Civilian JTF mistook them for JTF troops who might have gone ahead of them to the villages to capture members of the terrorist group.In another development, 17 Shuwa Arab herdsmen have been reportedly killed by gunmen suspected to be members of the Boko Haram sect in Kaga village near Damboa local government area of Borno State.
