PETER ODEMWINGIE finally clinched his escape route from West Brom with a £2.5m move to Premier League new boys Cardiff. The Welsh side ended the striker’s Hawthorns hell which started on the last day of the last transfer window in January. Odemwingie, 32, famously drove to QPR to try to force through a move but ended up back at West Brom and frozen out. Meanwhile, the Baggies also landed French midfielder Morgan Amalfitano, 28, on a season-long loan, plus they brought in ex-Nottingham Forest keeper Lee Camp, 29, on a free transfer, daily star reports.
