Monday's Tornado In Japan Rated 4th Strongest On Scale.

The Japan Meteorological Agency said Tuesday that the violent storm that hit the eastern Japan prefectures of Saitama and Chiba on Monday was a tornado rated F2, the fourth highest level on the Fujita tornado damage scale.
An F2 tornado packs winds of 50 to 69 meters per second.The tornado caused damage across an area of 19 kilometers in length, the sixth largest in Japan since 1961, the Meteorological Agency said.
