OBASANJO MEETS PRESIDENT JONATHAN AT LAST.
Information reaching us has it that former President Olusegun Obasanjo today met with President Goodluck Jonathan behind close doors at the State house in Abuja possibly to discuss issues bordering on the recent developments within the ranks and file of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)You will recall recent news about the walkout, staged by some prominent and aggrieved members of the party at the party's special convention in Abuja in which Obasanjo himself was absent and the issue bordering on the face-off between President Goodluck Jonathan and Governor Rotimi Amaechi of River State.
Speculations are that Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo wants to make sure that this bickering within the party does not lead to the party's break up and eventual demise, heading to 2015 general election.
