SON QUESTIONED OVER HIS FATHER'S DEATH.

A British man has be arrested on suspicion of killing his dad while they were on holiday in Spain. Ian John Bennett, 45, was detained by police after his father, Douglas, 69, was found unconscious at a campsite in L'Estartit, on the Costa  Brava, north of Barcelona.

Mr Douglas Bennett from Chard Somerset, died shortly after he was admitted to hospital in nearby Girona.

His son was being interrogated by police yesterday. Police is said to believe Mr Douglas Bennett died from a punch to the head or a head injury he suffered in a fall.
