US POLICE WARN OF KILLER BATCH OF DRUGS HEADED FOR THE UK

MASSIVE shipments of a lethal form of club drug MDMA could be heading for Britain, US police have warned. The Chinese-made white powder, which looks like bath salts, has already killed at least three people in America.

 “Kids take it believing it to be a pure form of ecstasy but it’s not,” said US Drug Enforcement Administration agent Erin Mulvey. “It’s not pure, it’s not safe and it’s not even ecstasy.” The powder, which can be swallowed, snorted, ­injected or dissolved in ­water, has a similar euphoric effect to regular MDMA, But it can also induce ­psychotic behaviour and other side-effects.
