Dannii Minogue tells Sharon Osbourne to 'shut up' after X Factor attack
FURIOUS Dannii Minogue has hit out at her old enemy Sharon Osbourne and sent her a message to “shut up”.
The Aussie singer was fuming after Sharon re-ignited their seven-year feud which began on The X Factor.
Sharon, 60, yesterday slated Dannii in her newly-published autobiography and called her “a little madam”. She also mocked her for holding on to a £1,800 Chanel handbag she had given her as birthday present which she had asked to be returned,
Now Dannii, 41, has hit back by endorsing the comment of one of her Twitter fans saying: “Wish Sharon Osbourne would just shut up now”.
And, posting a cartoon of a laughing face, she sent a message to Sharon: “Happy to give my birthday present back!!!!!!”
She collapsed in tears on The X Factor Australia, becoming emotional over the bust-up with Sharon and the death of her grandmother last week.
Dannii said a performance by her protégée Dami Im of Simon & Garfunkel’s soulful Bridge Over Troubled Water had triggered her crying. She told Dami, 24: “I had the roughest week ever. That was for my parents and my grandfather. I’ve had the toughest time.
“You have been my absolute angel. And for anyone else out there who has ever had a tough time, that is the song.”
She and Sharon fell out over her romance with Simon Cowell, 53, during her 2007 stint on The X Factor.
Sharon had accused her of getting too big for her boots and acting like she ran the show because of her fling with the boss. Her new book dredged up more details of the bitter feud.
A representative for Dannii Minogue declined to comment. The Daily Star reports.
