Al-Qaeda Rebels Apologise For Accidentally Decapitating The Wrong Man!

The Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham asked for "understanding and forgiveness" following the error.
A group of Islamic extremists has apologised after decapitating and publicly displaying the wrong man's head.
During a speech in Aleppo, the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) - a jihadist group based in Iraq and Syria - held up the decapitated head of a victim they described as a militia leader fighting for President Assad.
But when a video of the display was posted online, other rebels recognised the bearded individual as belonging to a fellow Islamist.
A spokesman for ISIS confirmed to the Daily Telegraph that the man was, in fact, Mohammed Fares, a soldier in the ahrar al-sham faction of Sunni Islamists.
It is believed Mr Fares may have been injured in a battle with a Shia group and later ended up being decapitated by ISIS during a misunderstanding.
The ISIS spokesman Omar al-Qahtani told the newspaper the rebels asked for "understanding and forgiveness"
