Cowell And Lauren ready to Tie The Knot In 'Imminent' Beach Wedding!

SIMON COWELL has cleared the decks to wed Lauren Silverman – and could even walk down the aisle today.

The TV and pop supremo has ­finalised a pre-nuptial agreement for Lauren to sign and made ­changes to his will and life ­insurance policies.

Last night, rumours were circulating on the Caribbean island of ­Barbados that the X Factor boss, 54, may marry today.

A hush-hush function has been ­organised at the Sandy Lane Hotel – and speculation is rife it could be for Simon’s wedding.

Hotel sources said they had been asked to sign confidentiality agreements.

A senior US legal source confirmed the pair are due to wed “imminently”.

And it was claimed they had already got a marriage licence from a ­ Barbados magistrates court.

Simon and Lauren, 36, were spotted on the beach on Friday and yesterday he was splashing about on a jetski.

Also at the top-notch resort are a number of Simon’s closest friends, including two of his ex-girlfriends, singer Sinitta, 50, and model Terri Seymour, 38, along with Terri’s boyfriend, model Clark Mallon, 21, Simon’s showbiz agent pal Jonathan Shalit, 49, and his wife Katrina.

The party is said to be holed up in the opulent One Sandy Lane ­complex – the island’s most luxurious ­property.

The eight residences – each with five en-suite bedrooms – have their own private beach away from other guests staying at Sandy Lane’s posh hotel.

Each of the sprawling 10,000sq ft apartments has a hot tub and private staff.

Simon’s friends have been sworn to secrecy about their break.

But one guest at the resort said: “We’ve heard Simon has arranged some sort of ceremony. But everyone has been kept ­guessing and it’s believed it could be some sort of ­blessing before thebaby arrives. But you never know, it’s all so secretive that everyone could be caught on the hop by a ­surprise wedding.”

Lauren is also said to have arranged a special make-up session, because she feels herpregnancy has made her face look too rounded and she wanted it to look slimmer for today.

One of Simon’s entourage told us: “I haven’t heard anything about a ­wedding. But you never can tell for certain – he’s a man who can pull ­surprises.”

A source close to Simon’s legal team revealed he worked out the pre-nuptial agreement before Christmas.

Cowell also made “significant” changes to his will and life insurance policies to provide for Lauren and her baby – a boy due in February.

Lauren’s divorce from husband Andrew was finalised on December 6.

Cowell is set to start work on ­the Britain’s Got Talent auditions on ­January 18.

He has previously hinted he wanted to be married before the baby arrived, telling one interviewer: “Obviously, I would never expect to bring a baby up without a proper father.”

His mum Julie is also known to favour a wedding before the birth.

Our source said: “Legally, he has now paved the way for marriage to Lauren free from any ­ possible financial problems.”

Cowell has put his £12.5million Beverly Hills mansion on the market. And preparations for the new arrival are taking place at his west London home where furniture was delivered this week.
