Lamar Odom Ditched Khloe Kardashian For Father Joe At Thanksgiving?

Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian reportedly didn't spend Thanksgiving together with the NBA star instead choosing to celebrate the holiday with his father Joe.

Basketball player Lamar remained tight lipped on his holiday plans as he jetted into Los Angeles the day before Thanksgiving, and while both he and wife of four years Khloe were in the same city, E! News report they celebrated separately.

The couple, who have been battling rumours of Lamar's infidelity and drug taking for months, allegedly couldn't work out the drama in their families, with the sports star reportedly choosing to see his father Joe over his wife.

“Lamar wanted to spend Thanksgiving with his father and so he didn’t spend it with Khloé,” E! News reports an source as saying.

While Lamar was reportedly invited to Kris Jenner's traditional family dinner, it's thought Joe's recent comments about Khloe and her family meant he wasn't extended an invite: "Kris isn’t over what Joe said about her and the rest of her family,” another source has revealed to HollywoodLife.com, adding: “So instead, Lamar spent the day with his dad and good friends".

The insider insists though that Lamar, who was left off the annual Kardashian family Christmas card this year, was really keen to see Khloe during the holiday weekend: “Lamar wants to be with Khloe and the rest of her family for Thanksgiving, no question. But, he also wants his father to be part of the meal because he’s family too. Lamar is caught up because he can’t be in two places at once"

The drama reportedly stems from an interview Joe gave to Radar Online in September over his son's marriage and relationship with the Kardashian/Jenner clan. Odom Snr attacked his son's famous in-laws and claimed he hoped his son divorced the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star.

He also took aim at Kris Jenner in particular, claiming she was the reason Lamar was struggling and that she "doesn't care" about him.

“The mother has been talking a lot of trash about my son, saying he’s on drugs and stuff like that. She’s got something against my son, something against my family. Kris Jenner is very negative. She’s an evil b****. She doesn’t care about Lamar, she just cares about their image and money," he reportedly told RadarOnline.

Admitting he was no fan of Khloe, he went on: “Someone’s got to speak out, I’ve got to do something about this. It’s simple. They brought him down. He would be better off without them. Let him go and get his life together. I think the best thing for him would be to have a clean break, divorce Khloe and as a single man try and get his life back together.”
