The unlucky fella had his right hand ripped off during at accident at work on 10 November.
Surgeons told him they would be able to save his detached hand, but not immediately.
Instead, in a bid to keep the body part alive, docs attached the hand to his lower leg.
Now, having successfully treated his injuries, specialists have been able to reattach his hand to its correct position - nearly a month after it was severed.

Xiao Wei will need to undergo further surgeries, but hospital staff are hopeful he will regain full function of his hand.
A doctor said: "His injury was severe. Besides ripping injuries, his arm was also flattened.
"We had to clear and treat his injuries before taking on the hand re-attachment surgery".

Xiao, from Hunan Province in China, described how he was initially taken to his local hospital for emergency treatment.
But, doctors there told him they would be unable to save his hand, instead recommending a larger regional hospital.
A pal drove Xiao over 100 miles to the specialist unit, where they arrived nearly SEVEN HOURSafter the accident.
Recalling his horror accident, Xiao said: "I was just shocked and frozen at the spot, until co-workers unplugged the machine and retrieved my hand and took me to the hospital."
He added: "I am still young, and I couldn't imagine life without a right hand."
