Oscar Pistorius Told Guards 'It's Fine' After Gunshots!

PARALYMPIAN Oscar Pistorius told security guards everything was “fine” after he shot his girlfriend, it was claimed yesterday.

According to www.dailystar.co.uk, Pistorius, 27, had been phoned by night watchmen at the gated housing estate after they heard gunfire. But the gold medal winner, nicknamed Blade Runner, is alleged to have said he was fine and never mentioned model Reeva Steenkamp was dead. He also failed to ask for an ambulance or emergency services to go to the mansion in Pretoria, South Africa, where the 29-year-old blonde lay in a pool of blood. The claims are made in a prosecution document handed to the sprinter’s defence team but leaked to South African TV news channel eNCA. More details from the document have been revealed by the South African radio news service EyeWitness News. It also revealed how police plan to rely on the athlete’s internet browsing history to prove he intended to kill Reeva. They claim his internet activity on the night she died “is in direct contrast to that of a loving couple spending time together”. Oscar is accused of shooting Reeva four times through his locked toilet door on Valentine’s Day last year. The South African star, famed for the carbon fibre blades he runs on, claims he shot her by accident after mistaking her for an intruder.

But detectives reject his claim. Police are reported to have collected the statements of two neighbours who heard gunshots and then screaming followed by more gunshots. The final gunshots, the two witnesses reportedly claim, “extinguished” the screaming. But one element of the leaked prosecution papers does appear to support Pistorius’s story. The police now accept he was on his stumps when he shot through the bathroom door. Previously, cops had said he pulled on his prosthetic limbs before doing opening fire, which appeared to suggest he had acted deliberately. Pistorius, who claims he has been “consumed by sorrow” since the shooting, faces a three-week trial in Pretoria from March 3, although the court date could be postponed. If found guilty he could be jailed for life.

  1. Only God knows what actually happened that night, Oscar might be innocent albeit inconsistencies in his actions. May the soul of his girlfriend and the souls of the faithful departed rest in perfect peace, Amen!
