Bill and Hillary Clinton are about to add a new title to their impressive resumes: grandparents.
Chelsea Clinton revealed Thursday that she’s pregnant with her first child.
The 34-year-old Clinton made the surprise announcement at an event in the Lower East Side that she was hosting with her mother, former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
''I just hope that I will be as good a mom to my child and hopefully children as my mom was to me,” Chelsea Clinton said, according to the Washington Post.
Hillary Clinton said she was “really excited” to welcome her first granddaughter, the Post reported.
Chelsea’s husband, Marc Mezvinsky, was reportedly looking on from the back of the Lower Eastside Girls Club when his famous wife broke the news.
Former President Clinton said in a Twitter post that he couldn’t wait to be a granddad. A nydailynews.com report.
