American Tampa Bay Buccaneers owner Malcolm Glazer died Wednesday, the team announced. He was 85.
The Glazer family bought the Bucs in 1995. The team won its first and only championship after the 2002 season. Glazer also owned Manchester United, the famed English Premier League soccer club.
Glazer's widow, Linda, and their five sons and daughter will continue to own and operate the Bucs, the team said. No other information about Glazer's passing was given. He is the fourth NFL owner to pass away in a little more than seven months. A www.usatoday.com extract.
