Odemwingie In, Ikechukwu Uche Out In Nigeria's 30 Man Preliminary World Cup Squad

Super Eagles Chief Coach Stephen Okechukwu Keshi at last succumbed to Nigerians clamour for the inclusion of Stoke City striker Osaze Odemwingie and Skipper Joseph yobo as he included the duo in his 30 man provisional list he submitted to the Technical Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation yesterday.
He, however stood his ground on the choice of Villareal of Spain striker Ikechukwu Uche as he omitted his name on the list of the players he submitted for onward submission to FIFA ON May 12, 2014.

He also made surprise inclusion in back to form Parma FC of Italy offensive midfielder Joel Obi while also included Ukraine based striker Babatunde Michael in the list also sublitted to the Nigeria Football Federation yesterday.

The 30 provisional list of the Super Eagles is as follows:
Goalkeepers:  Vincent Enyeama, Austin Ejide, Chigozie Agbim, Daniel Akpeyi.

Defenders:  Elderson Echiejile, Juwon Oshaniwa Efe Ambrose Godfrey Oboabona Azubuike Egwuekwe Kenneth Omeruo Joseph Yobo,  Kunle Odunlami.

Midfielders: John Mikel Obi, Ogenyi Onazi Ramon Azeez,  Ejike Uzoenyi Sunday Mba Gabriel Rueben Nosa Igiebor, Joel Obi, Michael Uchebo,

Strikers: Ahmed Musa, Shola Ameobi, Victor Moses, Emmanuel Emenike, Victor Nsofor, Osaze Odemwingie ,  Babatunde Michael, Uche Nwafor, Nnamdi Oduamadi.
