Adamawa State House of Assembly has Served Impeachment Notice On Governor Murtala Nyako and His Deputy, Bala Ngilari sources said. There are now very strong indications that the on going Boko Haram insurgency in Northern Nigeria is definitely not going away without heads rolling.
You would recall that in our previous posts we highlighted that Governor Nyako has been indicted by several investigative panels set up to look into what he knows about the activities of Boko Haram. These indictments notwithstanding, the Governor went ahead with a damning and revolting letter to his fellow northern Governors call for President Goodluck Jonathan's removal from office.
Governor Nyako has also been indicted by the Adamawa State House Of Assembly panel investigating the activities of the dreaded group Boko Hararm and to this effect, we understand the assembly has decided to call for his head and that of his deputy. Besides, Nyako has been having a running battle with the lawmakers since he left the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to join the All Progressives Congress.
All eyes are watching to see how this drama will unfolds!
