DAVID LUIZ DEPARTS CHELSEA FOR PSG ON A RECORD BREAKING £50M DEAL FOR A DEFENDER

David Luiz
DAVID LUIZ has completed his move from Chelsea to PSG. It means Luiz becomes the world's most expensive defender with the French champions spending over £50m to seal the deal.
Luiz will link up with Brazil team-mate Thiago Silva in the heart of the Parisian's defence as they attempt to make more of a dent in Europe
The Brazilian signed for the Blues from Benfica on the final day of the 2011 January transfer window, the same day Chelsea acquired the services of Fernando Torres.
He made his debut for Chelsea back in the days as a late substitute at home to Liverpool, before making his first start in a goalless draw at Fulham soon after. An acrobatic overhead cross deep in the opposition half in the game at Craven Cottage provided Chelsea supporters with a glimpse of his flair and technical abilities, which he continued to show throughout his period at Chelsea.
We will miss you, David. However, we wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Thanks for all you have the BLUES. Cheers!!!!
