Oops, he did it again! In a heated match against Italy on Tuesday, June 24, Uruguay’s forward Luis Suarez got a bit, err, forward when he took a bite out of Italian player Giorgio Chiellini’s shoulder.
Chiellini immediately threw his elbow back, knocking Suarez in the face and causing both men to fall to the ground. The Uruguayan soccer player, who earned a 10-match ban in 2013 for biting Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic and a seven-match ban in 2010 for biting Otman Bakkal in the Dutch Eredivisie, was not penalized for Tuesday’s attack.
Naturally, Chiellini was furious, pulling his shirt down to expose the bite marks in his shoulder as Suarez grabbed his teeth, appearing to be in pain.
It seems to be his trademark! Who will stop Suarez please?
