Nigerian Civil War: General Ike Nwachukwu, Others Demands N2 Trillion Reparation To Rebuild South East Nigeria!

As the controversy over the proposal to allocate 5% of crude oil proceeds  to a special intervention fund for terrorists affected areas rages, the apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohaneze Ndi-Igbo has made it's own bid for the payment of N400 billion to each of the south-eastern states  by  the Federal Government as reparations for damages suffered during the 30-month old civil war, www.thisdaylive.com reports.
The south east claim was contained in a pamphlet distributed  Monday to delegates and Journalists at the on-going national conference in Abuja.
In a bid to protect the south east interest, 16 delegates from the zone led by retired General Ike Nwachukwu sought an amendment to the proposed National Intervention Fund to empower the Federal Government to use part of the fund for reparation and reconstruction of the area.
