Solange Knowles Finally Speaks Out Over Elevator Attack On Jay Z

Solange Knowles has finally addressed the footage of her elevator brawl with brother-in-law Jay Z and it looks as though everyone is willing to move on from the scandalous night with the 'Losing You' singer revealing she and her family “are all good.”
The 28-year-old can be seen in leaked footage taken from security cameras in a lift at The Standard Hotel in New York on May 5, launching a vicious physical attack on Jay Z, 44, as his wife and Solange's older sister Beyonce stood in the middle watching on.
While the trio released a joint statement in the days after the clip emerged, Solange has remained silent about the incident until now, speaking in an interview with Lucky magazine.
“What's important is that my family and I are all good,” Solange told the publication after referring to the incident as “that thing.”
“What we had to say collectively was in the statement that we put out, and we all feel at peace with that.”
In the statement released jointly by Beyonce, Jay Z and Solange, the group said: “As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident.
“But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it. Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologised to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.”
Solange isn't the only one who has moved on from the fight-gate as Beyonce, 32, and Jay Z continue to weather the storm over claims that their marriage is on the rocks following the incident, by putting on plenty of PDAs on their joint 'On The Run' tour.
