McDonald’s have been forced to issue an apology after a customer found a Swastika drawn into her food.
Charleigh Matice said saw the shocking symbol marked on her bun when she opened her chicken sandwich in the Morehead City, North Carolina store.
She said she was particularly hurt by the symbol as her father was a soldier in the Second World War.
She told news station WTCI 12: ‘Many people had died under it and because of it, and it’s not something that should be taken lightly.’
The manager of the McDonald’s reportedly offered to replace Ms Matice’s food and has fired the employee who made the offensive sandwich.
