Amid rumours of a crumbling marriage, Beyonce and Jay-Z have now been hit with further controversy after they are sued by a woman claiming to be Blue Ivy’s biological mother.
There were conspiracy theories circling the couple when they were expecting their first child that Beyonce didn’t carry the baby but used a surrogate.
It seems that Tina Seals, the homeless woman who is suing the couple and claiming to be Blue Ivy’s real mother, has a history of filing bizarre and apparently unfounded lawsuits against celebrities. Previous claims have included that she’s the mother of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s daughter, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s son and Michael Jackson’s children.
According to Radar Online, who reportedly received a copy of the handwritten lawsuit filed by the claimant, she stated:
“Through mutual associates the plaintiff (myself) provided DNA egg for Beyonce and Jay-Z and look to work out some type of contractual agreement with defendants that: a) Would compensate me for my services with reference to Blue Ivy Doe. b) Would remove any criminal liability associated with the unlawful use of my DNA for the parties involved. c) Would terminate plaintiff parental rights immediately and extend full parental rights to defendants w/o plaintiff support.”
The surrogate conspiracy theories began after footage surfaced of Beyonce sitting down for an interview with Molly Meldrum on Seven’s Sunday Night in 2011. When examined closely, the footage appears to show Beyonce’s pregnancy belly folding in on itself – watch the video below.
Of course, Beyonce and Jay-Z have slammed any suggestion that her pregnancy was faked.
Even though this latest lawsuit could well prove to be unfounded, it just adds fuel to the fire of speculation currently surrounding the A-list couple that their marriage is about to come to an end.
It all started with the mystery fight in an elevator between Beyonce’s sister Solange Knowles and Jay-Z. Although Beyonce has since shown solidarity for her sister, none of the concerned parties have confirmed what the brawl was actually about.
