CCTV Footage ‘Shows British Man Shrien Dewani Meeting Taxi Driver With Bag Of Cash After His Wife Anni Was Murdered’

According to metro.co.uk, CCTV footage has emerged showing British man Shrien Dewani and his taxi driver meeting to exchange a package after his wife’s murder.

In the video clips, filmed on security cameras at the Cape Grace Hotel, Dewani is seen looking agitated while holding a plastic bag ‘containing cash’.

When Zola Tongo, who was later convicted of killing 29-year-old Anni, arrives the pair then disappear into a room.

#The taxi driver claims 34-year-old Dewani promised to pay him 5,000 rand for his role in his wife’s hijacking and killing 29-year-old Anni on November 13, 2010.

The clips were shown during Dewani’s trial in South Africa. He is accused of murdering his wife on their honeymoon.

The bisexual entrepreneur, from Westbury-on-Trym, near Bristol, has pleaded not guilty to murder, kidnapping, robbery with aggravating circumstances, conspiracy to commit these crimes and defeating the ends of justice, metro.co.uk reports.
