Mohammed Babangida, son of former Nigerian military President, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida, may have joined the Niger State 2015 governorship race.
With Gen. Ibrahim Babangida declaration to quit partisan politics, I think that was a tactical maneuver to make way for Mohammed 42, to take over and continue from where his dad stopped.
As for Mohammed Babangida, the size of his father shoes should be very familiar with him by now in term of his political exploits, understanding of the changing Nigerian social sphere and the need to detach himself from any controversy as long as Nigeria politics is concern.
With a Doctorate Degree and an MBA from a Scottish University in United Kingdom, I believe Moha as he is generously called has long been preparing himself for this enormous challenge. And, look, this young man is not too different from his dad as his kind spirit is something to cherish.
Eleven aspirants were said to have indicated interest to seek nomination of their political parties to run for the governorship seat of Niger State in 2015.
We wish young Moha success in this endeavor!
