#Insurgency: Cameroonian Troops Kill 39 Boko Haram Members!

Cameroonian authorities yesterday confirmed that its soldiers killed 39 Boko Haram militants during a clash with the insurgents who were carrying out raids on three villages on Cameroon’s territory.
Four Nigerian refugees also lost their lives in the attack while one Cameroonian was wounded.
 
Details of the attack were contained in a statement sent to AFP by the ministry. According to Cameroonian military, the latest Boko Haram attack targeted the village of Glawi, “killing four Nigerian refugees and wounding one Cameroonian, before being pushed back by defence forces which pursued them until the borders.” The ministry added that a dozen militants were killed by troops.
 
Another two groups of Boko Haram entered Cameroon at around the same time, but were “immediately intercepted and neutralised by our defence forces who destroyed three 4×4 vehicles equipped with machine guns, killing 27 assailants,” the ministry said.
 
The toll issued by the ministry has not been confirmed by independent sources. There were also no details of any casualties suffered by the army.
