It was held at the Keller Auditorium in Portland, Oregon and featured such mind-boggling categories as best muskateer moustache and freestyle full beard, according to metro.
Many of the 300 entrants, who came from all over the world, had spent years perfecting their facial hair.
The winner was a local boy called Madison Rowley and he’ll now enjoy an all-expenses paid trip to Leogang, Austria, for the 2015 World Championships, metro reports.
