Can Governor Amaechi Be A Loyal Vice President To A Man Like Gen. Buhari? I Doubt! Gen Buhari........Be WISE!

In choosing your deputy in every political office or association, one has a whole range of attributes to look for. Attributes are considerations as made by the one indicated, especially with strong evidence but in the absence of conclusive proof.  Even at that, there are attributes that are ''a must meet'' and some, a no-no, while some others can be waved aside.

Generally attributes like, Loyalty, Able & Capable of being in your shoes ''should in case,'' Support base, Financial support, and unflinching support, Cool headedness and Someone as good as you, are always the ones to go for. With loyalty at the top of the list!

We know Gen Mohammadu Buhari seems a cool, simple and a no nonsense retired military junta, but the question is, is Gov. Amaechi a matching running mate with the needed loyalty and humility to support such a calm, cool and simple looking gentleman as a Vice?. The answer is simply NO with conclusive proof!

Looking at Amaechi's antecedents, he is no where near what Gen. Buhari needs as a loyal and humble Vice Presidential Candidate. No, no and not at all. 


Gov Amaechi in his way of behaviour looks more like the Kingibe of Abiola era and the secretary to the late Umaru Musa Yar'Adua led FNG. A pretentious seeming and deceptive appearing loyal bile with a purpose waiting for an opportunity to seize forcibly or unscrupulously .

What Gen. Buhari needs in a running mate is no less than someone like President Goodluck Jonathan. A first-class loyal lieutenant who has no ambition for that position, but able and ready to do the job if necessary.

Yes, Gov. Amaechi can match any financial aspect as needed for the campaign, but not the voting support base and the unflinching support and loyalty required of a Vice President.
