#Centenary Celebration; Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan Hosts Chief Executives Of Top 100 Comapnies In Nigeria.

President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria hosted CEOs of top 100 companies in Nigeria Monday to a presidential launch to unveil the top 100 companies operating in Nigeria under the Top 100 Business Initiative designed to mark the Nigeria centenary at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Among the top 100 companies unveiled December 1st by President Jonathan were Chevron, MTN, Globacom, First Bank of Nigeria, Nigeria Breweries, Indorama, Dolphin Foods, Wemco, Manuda Industries, Flour Mills and UACN.

The CEOs and their companies were recognized for their contribution towards making Nigeria the Largest economy in Africa

 

According to the Nigerian Minister of Trade and Investment, Olusegun Aganga,these companies have built considerable scale in Nigeria and continue to show strong commitment to invest more." The top companies initiative which coincide with Nigeria's centenary year, cut across various sectors such as such as oil and gas, telecommunication, construction, food manufacturing companies, among others.
