It was only a time bomb waiting to explode. The killing was taking another dimension and the State seem condoning, disregarding or overlooking it all. Protests were taking place every where and no conviction news to douse the air. And finally it's here. I hope they will be able to find a lasting solutions before it gets out of hand.
NYPD cops were under siege Sunday, a day after two were executed in Brooklyn, with more than a dozen reported threats of violence against officers including a man who burst into a Harlem station house screaming he wanted to kill everyone inside, nypost reports.
“This has been spinning out of control, and there’s going to be more violence,’’ said former NYPD Detective Richard Sica, who investigated the 1988 slaying of Officer Eddie Byrne as he sat in his cruiser in Queens.
Saying the officers killed Saturday “were targeted and assassinated just like Eddie was” simply for being a cop Sica added, “It’s not even close to being over.”
In addition to the threats, numerous NYPD vehicles and cops’ personal cars were sabotaged outside Transit District 12 headquarters in The Bronx by someone who removed the lug nuts from the wheels, law-enforcement sources said. Get More @ nypocst.com
