#Finally Gov. Fashola Has Accepted Imposition Of Canditate As Democratic & Called On Lagosians To Vote Ambode!

Before the APC governorship primary election in Lagos State, Governor Fashola said he would support whoever emerges as the party's candidate, but what transpired during the primaries proper sent a heavy signal that Gov Fashola is a nobody and will remain a nobody in Lagos State politics.

He was so naïve that he  never saw it coming.  According to sources, Gov. Fashola looked so ignorant not knowing that the majority of his the party's delegates for the primary election have already been cornered, settled and cashed in by his godfather Alhaji Bola Tinubu.

His reaction was so furious that he even contemplated dumping the APC to show Tinubu his political relevance. Even up to a few days ago, the APC in Lagos State was still wondering if Gov. Fashola was still part of the party.

Today all that has changed.  Speaking at the Lagos Sea Food Festival 2014 organized at the Bar Beach, Victoria Island, Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola  urged every one living in Lagos State to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Akinwunmi Ambode, to sustain the programmes of his administration.  Noting that this year’s edition of the festival would be his last as governor. In his words: “I urge you all to support the new APC governorship candidate; support him, support the party and make sure that the festival continues, according to the nationonlineng.com........CONTINUE AFTER THE CUT....

Continuing, he said supporting Ambode and the APC would  ensure that the state continued to enjoy good governance and high performance. He told the crowd of fishermen and women as well as other stakeholders at the event that “if you want this to continue, you have a role to play; you have to register and you have to collect your Permanent Voter Cards and then you can use your vote to choose what you want”. “I hope that you will all do what is necessary to sustain these activities.

What that means is that Gov. Fashola has finally accepted that imposition of candidates was right and is a part of Nigerian democracy and has come to stay. Anyway, we are sending our congratulations out to Alhaji Bola Tinubu and his anointed APC flag bearer and the next Lagos State governor in waiting  Akinwunmi Ambode. We also wish to remind you Mr or Alhaji Ambode to please bear in mind in advance that what happened to Gov. Fashola will also happen to you in due time.
