An elderly couple who ended up in hospital after physically fighting with each other say they can’t remember what they were arguing about, according to metro.co.uk.
Charlene Earle, 83, and Charles Earle, 87, drove themselves to Florida Hospital Fish Memorial in Orange City, US, to have their injuries tended to. Police were called to the hospital at around 11pm on Saturday.
A nurse told officers the couple – which have been married for 64 years had been in a fight with each other.
The duo both suffered injuries including severe bruising and skin tears.
Both declined to give statements and said they did not remember the incident or the reason they were arguing, report News Journal.
Mrs Earle was arrested and charged with battery.
