Wahala Deooo! Gen. Muhammadu Buhari Has Not Met INEC Legal Requirement For Contesting 2015 Elections - Olisa Agbakoba (SAN)

 

Popular Nigerian lawyer Olisa Agbakoba has questioned Gen Mohammadu Buhari's non-compliance with INEC's legal requirement for the 2015 general election. This is another interesting development in this certificate saga that seems to have refused to go away. .

Mr Olisa Agbakoba (SAN) made the assertion while speaking to Channel TV Thursday. Hear him; “When this issue came to the front burner, I did what is expected -research. I called for the past INEC forms filled by Buhari the past three times he had contested for this office. In all of them, he filled them properly because there was no provision for proof of certificates/credentials.''

''But now that the Electoral Act (2011?) is asking for proof of such credentials, INEC has complied by including on its forms, this requirement.''
