There are few places where spelling mistakes can be forgiven. Library is not one of such places for sure? But there was a very vivid shocking sighting today 5th Dec 2015; the library van of Somerset County Council in London UK was spotted with a glaring typo.
Instead of saying ‘exercise’, the sign writers had put ‘exersice’ on the side.
It was spotted in Isle of Brewers, Taunton, and the phrase in full reads: ‘Reading is to the mind what exersice is to the body.’
A Somerset County Council spokesman said: ‘We are aware of the mistake on this particular mobile library and as far as we are aware this is the only vehicle with the mistake, metro.co.uk reports
