Lupita's £97,000 Stolen Oscars Dress Found, Thief Said It Worth's F*****K All

The pearl encrusted dress worn by Lupita Nyongo at the Oscars that was later reported stolen a few days ago is said to have resurfaced. Thieves took the Calvin Klein creation from the West London West Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

In what looks like a change of heart, the thief was said to have called TMZ on phone yesterday to tell them he had returned the dress and told them where to locate the dress. Stating that he took a few pearls off the dress and took them to the garment district in downtown L.A to see how much they were worth but to his surprise, he was told the pearls were fake. Lols....

L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. confirmed that they received a phone call from a media representative, informing detectives that they had received a call from an anonymous caller with information regarding the stolen Calvin Klein dress.

The thief says he decided to take the dress back to the London in a garment bag that was inside a trash bag that he deposited in a 2nd floor bathroom adjacent to a fitness centre.
