A man has died and two more are injured after a man thought to be a jealous ex-lover opened fire at a wedding, according to a report originally published by Irish Mirror and republished by www.metro.co.uk.
The gunman allegedly went to the wedding in Newtownbutler, Northern Ireland, this afternoon with the aim of shooting the groom, but apparently missed his target, hitting another wedding guest instead. Another man was also shot and a third was stabbed.
And a man in his sixties died after being flown to hospital by emergency helicopter while the two injured men are being treated.
According to reports it seems that a jealous man who had previously been going out with the bride turned up to try and shot the groom,’ Sinn Fein councillor Thomas O’Reilly told the Irish Mirror.
‘He missed the groom but shot the man standing beside him.
