He gazes at his civil partner Luke Harris, then they turn to the child’s surrogate mother, Bex Harris, and say: ‘Thank you for giving us the baby we’ve always dreamed of.’
Phoenix Blue Harris-Lee, nicknamed ‘little master Blue’ by the couple, was born naturally at 11.01pm on January 14 after a 16-hour induced labour, weighing 7lb 15oz.
